The AP reports that the Oakland Athletics declined their $3 million option for lefty reliever Alan Embree on Friday.Embree went 2-5 with a 4.96 ERA in 70 outings this past season after going 1-2 with 17 saves and a 3.97 ERA in 68 appearances in 2007. The 38-year-old will surely find another team to pitch for by spring training.
