If it's a second baseman, Asdrubal Cabrera is expected to move to short with Peralta moving to third.Peralta excelled after being moved to the cleanup spot. In 84 games as the No. 4 hitter, he hit .300 with 12 home runs, 58 RBI and 63 runs scored. He has been the Indians' shortstop for the past three seasons.

Cabrera is clearly seeing the ball very well at the moment, as he's laced three doubles and a homer with eight RBIs over his last five contests. Despite his questionable '08 track record, the 22-year-old switch-hitter is batting .485 with 13 RBIs through 32 at-bats this month and thus merits consideration across the board.
