News: Twins RP Boof Bonser, who hadn't pitched since Saturday because of a strained muscle in his back, returned Friday at Tampa Bay. He allowed three runs on two hits in 3 2/3 innings of relief, striking out three and walking two.
Analysis: Bonser could have been a candidate for a spot start, but he is now nothing more than a low-end middle reliever for the deepest of AL-only leagues down the stretch

Boof Bonser should be available to pitch on Tuesday despite straining his lower back on Saturday according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.Bonsor has had mixed results since moving to the bull pen in June. In six September appearances, he has a 6.75 ERA.
