The 24-year-old Morrow arrived for good in 2008, stepping in as closer when J.J. Putz went down before joining Seattle's rotation later in the year. If he can adjust to the heavy workload, Morrow has the stuff to flourish as a big league starter.

News: Mariners SP Brandon Morrow, converted from the bullpen to the starting rotation recently, won his final start of 2008 on Friday against the Athletics, but he didn't look great in the process. He allowed six runs on six hits in five innings, walking five and striking out eight.

Analysis: Morrow finished with a 5.79 ERA in five starts, which hardly tells the story of his upside. He has elite talent and could emerge as a No. 3 Fantasy SP as soon as next season. You shouldn't draft him as such, obviously, but consider him a nice sleeper for the late rounds
