Brett Wallace went 4-for-6 with a homer, a double and six RBI in Monday's AFL action. Wallace may be fresh out of college, but he's still about as skilled of a hitter as there is in the AFL. He's gone 10-for-25 with two homers since a 4-for-30 start.
Brett Wallace had three hits and drove in the Saguaros' only run in Tuesday's AFL action. After opening the AFL season 4-for-30, Wallace has gone 4-for-8 with a homer in his last two games. The 2008 first-round pick doesn't lack for polish and could emerge as one of the circuit's best hitters the rest of the way.
In a game in which his teammates combined for 11 runs, Brett Wallace went 0-for-6 for the Saguaros in Tuesday's AFL action. Wallace, the 13th overall selection on the 2008 draft, is 4-for-30 with an 11/0 K/BB ratio so far. It's still quite early, but it's surprising just how much he's struggling after he hit .337/.427/.530 in 41 games in the Midwest League and 13 games in the Texas League.
