Indians recalled RHP Brian Slocum from Triple-A Buffalo. Slocum is part of what figures to be the last batch of Indians' callups from Buffalo, as the team announced today that it is cutting ties with the International League club. It's hoping to have its Triple-A franchise in Columbus next year. Slocum had a 4.85 ERA in 11 starts and 19 relief appearances for the Bisons. He'll pitch in middle relief.
News: Cleveland recalled first baseman Michael Aubrey and right-handers Thomas Mastny, Jon Meloan and Brian Slocum on Monday. Left-hander Rich Rundles' contract was purchased from the Bisons.
Analysis: Slocum could get spot starts down the stretch, but he is nothing more than a low-end middle reliever for the deepest of AL-only leagues that use true middle men at this point

He doesn't merit fantasy consideration, especially with a tough first assignment against the Rays.
