Colin Fly, of The Associated Press, reports Milwaukee Brewers RP Eric Gagne was ejected Thursday, July 31, after throwing at Chicago Cubs OF Jim Edmonds.
Milwaukee reliever Eric Gagne faced one hitter and wound up getting ejected after throwing behind Cubs outfielder Jim Edmonds, who had hit two home runs on the day.The first three pitches of the at-bat were inside, and the fourth was a foot behind Edmonds. Brewers manager Ned Yost made a lame attempt to defend his hurler, but the intent was obvious.
