J.J. Hardy explained Friday night that the thumb injury he suffered during Thursday's celebration of a walkoff home run is completely minor. "I don't know how it happened. I just came out of the pile saying, 'My thumb hurts,' " Hardy said. "I didn't think it was anything big. I went in and got treatment on it, and just let them look at it to make sure it was nothing."
