News: The Diamondbacks on Monday released infielder Jamie D'Antona, who is expected to sign with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows of Japan's Central League. D'Antona made his major league debut July 22, getting a pinch-hit single in his first career at-bat against the Cubs' Sean Marshall at Chase Field. He hit .176 (3-for-17) with an RBI in 18 games for Arizona last season.
Analysis: D'Antona has pop in his bat, but it won't do any good for you over in Japan. Ignore him in all Fantasy leagues now and beyond
