Jason Varitek continues to get drafted before his true value. The veteran catcher will enter the regular season with declining numbers across the board. As well, the left-handed hitter struck out in 9 of his last 11 spring at-bats.There are too many options outside of Varitek that offer fantasy owners more upside. At some point managers need to put the catcher's reputation on hold.
