Jeremy Bonderman underwent surgery Monday to correct a condition that caused a blood clot in his pitching arm, this according to the AP. Bonderman was 3-4 with a 4.29 ERA in 12 starts before being placed on the disabled list on June 7th.The team has not put a timetable on Bonderman’s return to the mound. Kenny Rogers underwent a similar procedure for the same condition that kept him out for most of the 2007 season.

Tigers SP Jeremy Bonderman, a former high school star in Pasco, Wash., who had 20 family members in attendance Sunday at Seattle, allowed a career-high 12 hits but only three earned runs in seven innings, with zero walks and five strikeouts. He took a no-decision, though, and still has only one win in his last six starts.
