News: Tampa Bay SP Matt Garza was bailed out by teammates on Saturday in Game 3 of the World Series against Philadelphia. Garza allowed four runs on six hits over six innings on Saturday but got a no decision. Garza walked two and had seven strikeouts. He allowed home runs to Chase Utley, Ryan Howard and Carlos Ruiz before leaving.
Analysis: Garza had two magnificent starts in the ALCS, allowing two runs total in two victories. He had an off-and-on season -- just like this postseason, apparently -- but you could say he broke out, posting a 3.70 ERA. He certainly showed he has nice potential and will enter 2009 as a No. 4 Fantasy SP with room to grow into more

Matt Garza is set to take the hill in tonight's Game 3 of the World Series against the Phillies, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.The 24-year-old hurler was the MVP of the ALCS against Boston, and will be aiming to pull the Rays ahead, with the series currently tied at 1-1.
Bill Chastain, of MLB.com, reports Tampa Bay Rays SP Matt Garza will start Game 3 of the World Series Saturday, Oct. 25. He will be pitching on five days' rest.
