Michael Barrett was forced out of Wednesday night’s game against the Rockies in the second inning after fouling a ball off his face, according to the AP. He remained on the ground near home plate for several minutes, and was attended to by team trainers before walking to the clubhouse under his own power.Barrett was taken to a hospital for further evaluation for what was believed to be a fractured nose, according to the Padres.
