Wolf, who recorded his first double, allowed seven hits in six innings. He didn't issue a walk and struck out five.

Masterfully changing speeds from 91 mph fastballs to looping curves at 66 mph, Wolf kept Seattle's batters guessing. He allowed three runs -- two in the seventh inning -- on seven hits and one walk, striking out five.

"You have to treat it as a start," Wolf said. "You can't get sentimental or nostalgic with the lineup they throw out there. You can't concentrate on things from the past."
