Padres SP Randy Wolf battled back after allowing two runs in the first inning Tuesday against the Nationals and salvaged a no decision. Wolf fell behind 2-0 early after allowing a two-run homer to Aaron Boone just three batters into the game. He settled down thereafter, shutting out the Nationals for 5 2/3 innings. Wolf, who recorded his first double, allowed seven hits in six innings. He didn't issue a walk and struck out five.
