The Twins have discussed Rich Aurilia with the Giants, according to ESPN's Jayson Stark. Minnesota has looked at regular third basemen like Adrian Beltre and Hank Blalock, but if the club picked up Aurilia, it'd likely be to start him only against lefties, with Brian Buscher playing against righties. Stark also reports that the Twins are dangling Boof Bonser as they look for an upgrade, but doesn't say he's part of the talks with the Giants.
