Rich Rundles was called up from the minors on Wednesday September 3.
News: Jim Thome walked in the ninth Wednesday off LHP Rich Rundles, who was making his major league debut. It was the only batter he faced.
Analysis: Rundles might have a future as a reliever in the majors, but he is nothing more than a low-end middle reliever for the deepest of AL-only leagues that use true middle men down the stretch
Indians purchased the contract of LHP Rich Rundles from Triple-A Buffalo. Rundles, who was part of the deal that sent Ugueth Urbina from the Expos to the Red Sox in 2001, is making his major league debut as a 27-year-old. He had a 2.91 ERA in 52 2/3 innings as a reliever for Buffalo. Lefties hit just .165 off him.
News: Cleveland recalled first baseman Michael Aubrey and right-handers Thomas Mastny, Jon Meloan and Brian Slocum on Monday. Left-hander Rich Rundles' contract was purchased from the Bisons.
Analysis: Rundles might have a future as a reliever in the majors, but he is nothing more than a low-end middle reliever for the deepest of AL-only leagues that use true middle men down the stretch

TopI have known this man since kindergarten and there has not been anyone that has worked hared or deserves it more!! I will wash his clothes anytime!!!!!
Who ever made the fantasy prediction about this guy is way off base. I've seen him pitch quite a few times. He's got more than a great shot at being a closer in the Majors and will probably be one of the top in a few years. I'm rooting for this guy. 10yrs in the minors; he's paid his dues. Let's see what you got Kid!
