Roy Halladay has been named the Jays' pitcher of the year for 2008 by the Toronto chapter of the Baseball Writers' Association of America, according to Slam Sports.He earned the honor for a record sixth time by winning 20 games, with a 2.78 ERA and 1.05 WHIP.
