After going homerless from Aug. 20-Sept. 12, Garko's left the yard twice in his last three games, a strong indication that he's begun to settle into a nice groove at the dish. While he entered the contest with an underwhelming .368 slugging percentage through 38 at-bats this month, the streaky slugger did rack up a .292 average with 20 RBIs in August and thus remains a decent pickup down the stretch.
