Ken Mandel, of MLB.com, reports the Philadelphia Phillies signed free-agent 2B Tadahito Iguchi (Padres) Friday, Sept. 5. He is expected to join the team before Saturday, Sept. 6, but is ineligible to play in the postseason. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
