Even if he happens to beat out a slew of lefty teammates for a rotation spot, Jackson's chances of impacting your fantasy rotation are slim.

Even if he happens to beat out a slew of lefty teammates for a rotation spot, Jackson's chances of impacting your fantasy rotation are slim.
Cleveland Indians SP Zach Jackson allowed two runs on three hits over seven innings Saturday, Sept. 27, against the Chicago White Sox, according to The Associated Press. He walked four and struck out four, improving to 2-3 on the season.
Zach Jackson defeated the White Sox by allowing two runs and three hits over seven innings on Saturday. Jackson went 0-2 with a 6.48 ERA in his first seven starts for Cleveland, but he’s turned in victories against the Red Sox and White Sox during the final week to lower his ERA to 5.60. He’ll probably enter 2009 somewhere between seventh and ninth on the Indians’ starting pitching depth chart. There isn’t much upside here, but he is pretty good as far as fallback starters go.
News: Cleveland SP Zach Jackson pitched seven strong innings and the Indians won 12-6 on Saturday over the Chicago White Sox. Jackson (2-3), acquired from Milwaukee in the CC Sabathia trade, allowed three hits, including solo homers by Jermaine Dye and Paul Konerko. He walked four and had four K's.
Analysis: Jackson won his only two games of the season consecutively to end his year. That's what we call ending on a high note. Still, he doesn't look like much of a sleeper for 2009 and will likely have to contend for rotation spot in spring training
Zach Jackson won his second straight game on Saturday night. In seven innings he gave up only two runs on three hits in the Indians' 12-6 win.In Jackson's last two starts he has gone 13 innings giving up only four runs.
