Welcome to the evolution of mobile fantasy player news. We will provide free fantasy player stats and news for any player you'd like. There is nothing to subscribe to because its a simple text message search and a reply back with the information you need. For now it is limited to baseball fantasy news until September or August. So let's take a minute so you can learn the basics on how it all works.

How does it work?

First, open up your cell phone and add the following email address to your contacts: mlb@fantasysp.com . The following commands will work on ANY cell phone with text messaging. You DO NOT need a web browser. Also, please note that you can text this in the subject and/or body of the text message. It should work either way. However, I only own one phone that it was tested with. :)

  Receive the last 3 news updates about Alex Rodriguez. This is a player search based on the first name. The "f" stands for first name. "nyy" stands for the call letters of the team he plays on.
