In fantasy football, we always look for sleepers, values, breakouts, etc. But in the case of running backs, a position with so much week-to-week variance due to usage, split opportunities, injuries, team vs. team matchups and luck, it's sometimes better to cast a wide net.
Memorial Day is meant to remember those who died in service fighting for our country. Unofficially, many treat it as the start of summer, as school is over (or getting close) and the weather has gotten nice enough for outdoor activities in northern states.
Let’s jump right in today and go through Saturday’s probable starters (according to MLB.com) who are widely available in fantasy leagues and have good matchups, creating streaming value. Despite both sides voicing their desire to get a long-term deal done since last offseason, it still hasn't happened yet. There is no doubt he deserves a lot more money than he is currently getting after improving each season he's been in the league, proving he can stay healthy for a full season, and leading the league in passing while leading the team to the playoffs in a breakout 2023 season.
