News: Aaron Miles cut Cincinnati's lead to 3-2 with his fourth homer of the season in the seventh inning Tuesday.

Analysis: Miles didn't take over full time until late in the season, but he has enjoyed a mini breakthrough and might even have done enough to be considered a starter for spring 2009. Even with full-time at-bats and a monster hot streak, he is nothing more than an NL-only option at this point in his career
