Adam Dunn reached 40 homers for the fifth season in a row with a solo blast off Glendon Rusch in the Diamondbacks’ 6-4 win over the Rockies on Saturday. Dunn also doubled and scored in Arizona’s three-run eighth inning. Unless he hits another one tomorrow, Dunn will finish with exactly 40 homers for the fourth straight year. He hit 46 in 2003. The homer today also gave him his fourth 100-RBI season.
