Adam Wainwright surrendered just one run in eight innings to beat the Marlins. He struck out six, walked just one, and yielded six hits. The lone run came on a homer by Mike Jacobs. Wainwright has looked strong in all four starts since returning from the disabled list, so the sprained right finger that sidelined him for two and a half months doesn't appear to be an issue any longer.
