Some may have thought Lee had the ability to turn things around, as he wasn't far removed from a 2005 campaign that saw him win 18 games. But AL Cy Young numbers? Nobody saw it coming. Which raises the inevitable question: If you draft Lee next season, do you pay for his '08 stats or those he'll likely put up moving forward? It's hard to draft the veteran southpaw ahead of pitchers like Roy Halladay or CC sabathia, who've ranked among the game's top starters for several seasons, not just one. But placing among the 10-15 starters based on his 2008 dominance, makes complete sense.
