Daisuke Matsuzaka : October 11th, 2008, 12:50 am est
News: In quite a pitcher's duel Friday night against the Rays in Game 1 of the ALCS, Red Sox SP Daisuke Matsuzaka out-pitched James Shields to win his first game of the postseason. Matsuzaka went seven scoreless innings and allowed just four hits. He walked four and had nine strikeouts.
Analysis: Dice-K flirted with a no hitter on Friday and was dominant. He often throws too many pitches, walks too many batters and can't pitch deep into games but he'll always win a decent number of games for the Red Sox, posting a nice ERA and strikeout rate. Until he overcomes his control issues, however, he'll remain a No. 2 Fantasy SP
