Fausto Carmona : September 2nd, 2008, 11:15 pm est
Fausto Carmona picked up a victory on Tuesday night, holding the White Sox to three runs over 5 2/3 innings in a 9-3 victory for the Indians. Carmona pitched well over the first five innings as the Indians built a 4-0 lead, but the White Sox battled back in the sixth with three runs, prompting Eric Wedge to go to the bullpen. The Cleveland relievers were up to task, tossing 3 1/3 innings of scoreless ball while the offense added five runs in the seventh to make this victory a lopsided one. Carmona was far from dominant, but the two walks were his lowest total since July.
