Huston Street pitched perfect eighth and ninth innings and won for the fifth time this season after the A's came back to beat the Twins 3-2 on Saturday. Called on to close out a 2-1 lead in the ninth, Twins closer Joe Nathan gave up a single and hit a batter to begin the inning. Ryan Sweeney then attempted a sac bunt. Nathan pounded on the ball and decided to target the lead runner, only to throw the ball into left field. With so much foul territory in Oakland, the winning run came all the way around to score. The Twins, who had a chance to move back into first place, remained a half-game behind the White Sox with the loss. Street is 3-0 while giving up just one run in 9 1/3 innings over his last eight appearances.
