Asked Sunday whether Huston Street was ready to reclaim closer duties, manager Bob Geren said: "As of right now, no." Street has retired 18 of the past 19 batters he's faced while regaining some of his lost velocity, and said Sunday that he's hoping to get back into the mix for saves. "I'm looking to hopefully get some chances," Street said. "I haven't expressed that directly to them, but that was the whole reason I was taken out of the role, to return to form. And the last nine innings have indicated I've returned to form." The San Francisco Chronicle speculates that the emergence of Brad Ziegler and Joey Devine could lead to Street being traded during the offseason.Source: San Francisco Chronicle Related: Brad Ziegler, Joey Devine
