Ian Snell allowed just two runs -- one earned -- over six innings as the Pirates topped the Reds 3-2 on Tuesday night. Snell surrendered a leadoff home run and then an RBI single in the second, but settled in afterward. Nate McLouth's RBI groundout in the the third put the Pirates on top 3-2, a lead that would stick for the rest of the game. Snell is 6-10 with a 5.59 ERA this season.
