News: Jack Cassel lifted the Astros to a 7-5 win over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday, throwing four solid innings after Wandy Rodriguez departed with a right oblique strain. 'I just had this gut feeling (I'd pitch),' Cassel said. 'I was happy to get in there and make the best of it.'

Analysis: Cassel could be a candidate for spot starts, but he is nothing more than a high-risk spot starter or low-end middle reliever for the deepest of NL-only leagues that use true middle men down the stretch
