San Diego Padres SP Jake Peavy allowed one run on five hits over seven innings Saturday, Sept. 6, against the Milwaukee Brewers, according to The Associated Press. He walked four and struck out five, and fell to 9-10 on the year despite lowering his ERA to 2.63. The Padres have scored an average of 3.69 runs per game to support Peavy, the fourth-lowest mark for any National League starter. It was only the third game this season in 25 starts where Peavy allowed four or more walks.
