Jamie Moyer : September 7th, 2008, 6:00 pm est
Jamie Moyer threw seven innings of shutout ball in a 6-2 win over the Mets on Sunday. Moyer was his typical crafty self, walking three and striking out one in the scoreless effort. He's now 13-7 with a 3.64 ERA in 29 starts. The ERA is the lowest Moyer has posted since 2003. More importantly, today's win brings the Phillies within one game of the Mets for NL East supremacy. Both teams have 15 intra-division games left on their schedule, but none of them are against each other. Instead, how the Marlins, Braves, and Nationals do at playing spoiler will likely determine the division.
