Jim Edmonds is considering retirement, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.Edmonds dug himself out of a slow start with the Padres by hitting .256-19-49 in 85 games with the Cubs after signing. There will certainly be some teams interested in his services for 2009 if he decides to return.
