Updating previous reports, Chicago White Sox SP Jose Contreras (Achilles') began rehabbing his surgically repaired left Achilles' tendon Friday, Sept. 5, and hopes to return sometime next season. He was expected to miss between nine and 12 months after he tore the tendon Saturday, Aug. 9, against the Boston Red Sox.
