It's time to take Prado seriously. The all-purpose infielder has looked possessed at the plate with multiple hits in nine of his last 13 games, raising his season average to .346. Nothing in his history suggests he'll challenge for the batting title or stolen-base crown anytime soon, but if you're looking for a short-term fix up the middle, Prado should continue getting playing time until Casey Kotchman returns from injury.
