Matt Treanor : August 6th, 2008, 9:05 pm est
News: The Florida Marlins activated catcher Matt Treanor from the disabled list before Wednesday night's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Another catcher, Paul Hoover, was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque to make room for Treanor, who had been sidelined since July 8 with a strained hip.
Analysis: Treanor was batting .240 with two homers and 18 RBIs. Treanor needs surgery on three muscle tears in his hip, but he will postpone that until the end of the season at this point. Consider him a reserve catcher for the Marlins and the deepest of NL-only leagues at this point. Hoover hit .200 (8-for-40) and isn't someone to consider in Fantasy at this time
