Matt Treanor : September 7th, 2008, 5:50 pm est
News: Marlins catcher Matt Treanor left Sunday's game not long after fouling a ball off his left knee in the second inning. Treanor grounded out to end the inning and then took his position but walked off the field during warmups. John Baker replaced him in a scoreless game against the Cardinals.
Analysis: Treanor already needs surgery on three muscle tears in his hip, but he will postpone that until the end of the season unless this knee injury forces him to miss significant time on its own. Fortunately, he doesn't get nearly enough at-bats to matter outside of the deepest of NL-only leagues
