Max Scherzer : September 7th, 2008, 8:20 pm est
Max Scherzer yielded three runs in five innings and fanned 11 against the Dodgers in his first start back from the minors. Not bad, but not good enough with the way the Diamondbacks are playing right now. Scherzer left with a 3-2 lead, but that was with men on first and third and none out in the top of the sixth. Chad Qualls did well to let just one of the runners score. If the other had crossed home plate, Scherzer probably would have taken a loss instead of a no-decision.
