Updating previous reports, Arizona Diamondbacks C Miguel Montero will not play in the Arizona Fall League, after being unable to get assurance that he would receive regular playing time at third base, according to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. Instead, he will return to his native Venezuela and play winter ball there.
