Pat Burrell homered twice to drive in four runs as the Phillies beat the Brewers 6-2 on Sunday to advance to the NLCS. They'll host the Dodgers on Thursday. Jimmy Rollins started the scoring today with a leadoff homer off Jeff Suppan. Burrell later added a three-run shot in the third, and Jayson Werth followed with a solo shot to give the Phillies back-to-back homers. Burrell's final blast off Guillermo Mota provided an insurance run in the eighth. Joe Blanton earned the win after allowing one run in six-plus innings. The victory gave the Phillies their first postseason series victory since they advanced to the 1993 World Series.
