Paul Byrd : October 13th, 2008, 11:10 pm est
News: On Monday in Game 3 of the ALCS against the Rays, Red Sox SP Paul Byrd made his first relief appearance since the 2004 playoffs, when he was with Atlanta. He allowed four runs on five hits in 3 1/3 innings, recording two strikeouts.
Analysis: Byrd is a mediocre Fantasy pitcher at best, but he usually doesn't get blown out, enabling him to win a decent number of games as long as he pitches for a good team. Still, he's better off left for AL-only leagues
