The Sports Xchange notes that Ryan Sweeney was taken for X-rays after fouling a ball off his left foot on Wednesday against Toronto. Sweeney remained in the game initially. He hit a double and played another inning in center field before being taken out. There was concern that he might have fractured a toe, according to manager Bob Geren.
