News: Brewers closer Salomon Torres allowed one hit in a scoreless ninth inning Thursday against the Pirates, sending the game to extra innings. He didn't record a save, obviously.
Analysis: Torres has struggled down the stretch, posting a 6.75 ERA and blowing one save in only two opportunities. He might be running out of steam, but these struggles might also convince the Brewers to look at other options in 2009. He remains a No. 2 Fantasy option for now, but don't draft him next year unless he retains the closer's role
