This past week, the team brought 10 of their top young pitchers into Arlington to work with strength and conditioning coach Jose Vazquez during a week-long conditioning camp. They include Scott Feldman, Matt Harrison, Tommy Hunter, Eric Hurley, Doug Mathis, Josh Rupe, Michael Ballard, Thomas Diamond, Neftali Feliz and Derek Holland. 'We know if we push these guys, some are going to get hurt or get left behind because they can't handle the intensity,' Vazquez said. Kevin Millwood and Vicente Padilla are the only two pitchers guaranteed spots in the 2009 rotation.
