News: Rangers SP Scott Feldman, who allowed just one earned run in six innings in his final start Saturday, ended up pitching 164 innings this season, more than the 120-130 the Rangers would have liked, according to the Dallas Morning News. He pitched in the Fall Instructional League and the Arizona Fall League last offseason, but this offseason, he'll only rest. 'He did a great job,' manager Ron Washington said. 'He kept us in just about every game he pitched. Now, we just hope and pray that his arm bounces back next year.'
Analysis: Feldman led the Rangers with 13 quality starts even though he had a 5.29 ERA. The converted reliever might continue to make strides next season, but you shouldn't bother with him outside of deeper AL-only leagues on Draft Day 2009. He likely doesn't have much upside
