The St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Rick Hummel reports St. Louis Cardinals OF Skip Schumaker said he owes much of his success to former 1B Mark McGwire. McGwire works with Schumaker in the winter. 'Skip's got some talent and he's only going to get better,' McGwire said.'But I think he was one of those young kids who was trying to look ahead at things instead of what's in the present.'
