Cards hurler Todd Wellemeyer threw a good ballgame against the Braves, going six innings and allowing two earned runs on eight hits.Wellemeyer has not been very good since his outstanding May, but this was a nice start for the former reliever. He has thrown more innings this year than he ever has, however, so how long he can keep up the pace is questionable.
