The Associated Press reports Cleveland Indians DH Travis Hafner (shoulder) is considering arthroscopic shoulder surgery in the offseason. General manager Mark Shapiro said team doctors did not find the strength in Hafner's shoulder that they were expecting during an exit physical. Head trainer Lonnie Soloff is expected to provide an update on Hafner's condition next week. Shapiro expects Hafner to be ready for Spring Training next season, even if he undergoes shoulder surgery.
